P. Ficus Elastica

Ficus Elastic is commonly known as a Rubber Plant.

Care

Position: It's not terribly fussy! Like with many house plants, a bright spot with indirect sun is best but the rubber plant can also live quite happily in fairly low light. 

Water: Watering every 7-10 days is usually adequate. Having said that, when it's very hot in the summer you may need to increase the water and in the winter decrease a bit. If you look at (and touch) the soil that will help you know when it's time to water. The soil should be dry before giving more water.
